Children’s Word of God Program resumes Sept 21, 2014

This is an exciting and engaging ministry specialized for young children to learn more about our Catholic faith. Each Sunday at the 9am Family Mass during the school year, children ages infants through kindergarten are led to the Parish Center during the readings and homily to participate in the program which brings God’s word to children through age-appropriate stories, games and crafts during the readings. The program is open to any attending the 9am Family Mass which resumes this Sunday, 09/21. Parents are invited to participate alongside their children–we encourage families to attend the sessions together! For more information about the program or to learn how to volunteer, please email Carolyn Hastings.

We, the parishioners of Saint Julia Parish, seek to live our belief in Christ as we worship and serve Him according to His example and teachings. With appreciation of the diverse gifts of our individual members, we strive to gain the participation of each parishioner and work to ensure that everyone feels welcome in our community of faithful. We do this while mindful of God’s love for us and the power of His Spirit that makes us holy, heals our brokenness and sustains us in all the good we do. We are committed in the spirit of Christian stewardship to share generously our time, talent, and treasure.
