THE MISSION OF SAINT JULIA PARISH

We, the parishioners of Saint Julia Parish, seek to live our belief in Christ as we worship and serve Him according to His example and teachings.  With appreciation of the diverse gifts of our individual members, we strive to gain the participation of each parishioner and work to ensure that everyone feels welcome in our community of faithful.  We do this while mindful of God’s love for us and the power of His Spirit that makes us holy, heals our brokenness and sustains us in all the good we do.  We are committed in the spirit of Christian stewardship to share generously our time, talent, and treasure.

Annual Parish Mass & Picnic
You asked for social activities geared to those of all ages. Well, here is our biggest one – The Annual Parish Mass and Picnic! The date has been set for Sunday, September 15. It is our most anticipated and most widely attended event of the parish!
It takes a lot of people to plan, organize, coordinate, set up, clean up and enjoy this parish gathering. There are all types and levels of involvement, appropriate for young and old, individuals or families. Please contact Katie Beaudry, kbeaudry@stjulia.org to get involved.

Year of Faith: October 11, 2012 to November 24, 2013

This week the words of the Gospel inspire us to behold the coming of the Son of God. Elizabeth, “filled with the Holy Spirit,” beholds the presence of the Messiah in Mary’s womb and is filled with great joy. During the Year of Faith, we are asked to encounter Christ, especially in the Eucharist. What will you do over these few days to behold Christ’s presence?
