Taizé Prayer at St. Joseph Church

Starts: Tuesday, February 28th 2012 at 7:30 pm
Ends: Tuesday, February 28th 2012 at 8:15 pm

Everyone is invited to come experience a Lenten series of evening prayer in the style of Taizé on Tuesdays during Lent.

Taizé is a form of contemplative prayer that combines simple music, silence, and meditative prayer, based on the model set by the Taizé Community, founded in 1940 in southeastern France.

Come and experience the peace and joy of God in the stillness of your heart this Lenten season on Tuesdays at 7:30pm at St Joseph Church: Feb 28, March 13, and March 27 and at St Julia Parish Hall: March 6, March 20, and April 3.

We would love to have help with music – if you like to sing or play an instrument, please contact Julianne Tylko for a song list. For more information email Julianne. You can also learn more about the international, ecumenical community of Taizé by visiting http://taize.fr.
