Weston Masses will be held in the air-conditioned Parish Center during the renovation of St. Julia Church. St. Joseph Church is also air-conditioned.
When all grades or any grade of school are delayed or canceled for either town in which our churches are located, the Mass for that morning in that town will not be celebrated. In our two-church parish, offering a full schedule of daily Masses, this allows for safety precautions for Mass-goers and for Mass celebrants who often come a distance to assist us. It also allows some leeway for snow clearance, given the relatively early hours of our Masses within the day.
Don’t forget to include time for Mass in your travel plans. Whether you are traveling within the United States or abroad, you can find the Mass schedules of churches throughout the world at www.masstimes.org.
There is a free iPhone app that not only tells you the Mass times, but can detect your current location, show you nearby churches, give you Mass times, address, phone number, and website of a nearby parish, connect you to a map and give directions, give readings for the day and the saint of the day, and unbelievably, play for you the Catholic TV Mass for the day or any of the days of the last few weeks! It is called the Catholic Directory, and can be found in the App Store on your iPod or iPhone. Why not give it a try?

Each Saturday in St. Julia Church, there is one priest available from 3:15 to 3:45 PM. The name of the priest is always posted in advance in this bulletin. During the months of July and August, and during the renovation of St. Julia Church, the Sacrament will be offered in the Conference Room of the Parish Center.
If you would like to receive the Sacrament at another church, please know that most parishes in the Diocese offer the Sacrament on Saturdays, between 3:00 – 3:45 PM, always before the Saturday Vigil Mass.
WEEKDAY OPTION: St. Mary’s Church, on School Street in Waltham, offers the Sacrament of Reconciliation on weekdays just before the 12:15 PM daily Mass: Monday – Thursday, from 11:30 to 12:00 noon; Fridays, 11 AM to noon.
Café Julia is open during the school year after the 9AM Mass in the Parish Center. Please come by to catch up with old friends and meet some new ones. Enjoy a cup of fair trade coffee as you savor our imported sweets and help build community, painlessly! Cafe Julia is closed during the summer.
We rely on families to help host each weekend. So please contact Susan Bayard to sign up for a prime weekend!
